Non-Corps Onsite Training Request Application
:
The purpose of the Onsite Training Request application is to streamline the onsite request process by allowing you, the customer, to provide the United States Army Corps of Engineers Learning Center (ULC) the necessary information to conduct an analysis of the resources, and the capabilities for supporting your onsite training requirements. Onsite training should be requested at least 120 days prior to tentative start date allowing ULC time to meet your prospective requested training dates if possible. This will allow enough time for ULC to meet the 60 day billing policy. ULC will consider all potential onsite requests and do our best to meet your training needs should you request an urgent training onsite request less than 120 days prior to tentative start date. Approval Process When the Onsite Training Application is submitted at least 120 days prior to the tentative training start date, ULC will respond no later than (NLT) 30 calendar days. Onsite training requested 60 days or less, ULC will respond as soon as possible. During this period, you may contact ULC registrar’s office for status of your request as it flows through the ULC functional sections as listed below: -Training Coordinator/Organization -ULC Registrar -Division Chief -Course Manager -Division Chief -ULC Registrar -Training Coordinator/Organization The purchase cost of material for an onsite is billable once an agreement between ULC and the requesting organization is approved and training is scheduled. If payment is not received by the funding due date, ULC will cancel the organization’s request. Requesting Organization’s Responsibilities After ULC provides approved dates with cost for an onsite application, the organization has 12 calendar days to agree or disagree with the approved dates and cost. After the 12 calendar days the application will automatically become void. If ULC is unable to fulfill your request ULC will notify the organization immediately. Upon agreement by the requesting organization, this becomes an obligation and ULC will issue a bill to the organization at NLT 60 days prior to the course start date. The Registrar’s Office will send an email requesting class roster be submitted NLT 14 calendar days prior to the start date of the onsite. The organization accepts all responsibilities for coordinating logistical support for the on-site training session to include but is not limited to: - Funding - Student accountability - List of expected students - Completed Registration Forms (scantron sheets) - Classroom - Computer equipment - Audio Visual equipment - Field Trip (if required) - Tutorial: PDF NOTE: If the organization re-submits the same request for a later date, labor charges will be assessed prior to processing the second application.
