Purpose:
This course provides U.S. Army Corps of Engineers personnel with foundational AI literacy to responsibly evaluate and apply artificial intelligence. Participants will learn core AI concepts, governance, and data evaluation techniques, preparing them to identify use cases and leverage AI-enabled solutions that reduce risk, enhance innovation, and improve overall mission success.

Description:
This course provides a practical introduction for USACE personnel on leveraging modern, AI-enabled tools to enhance mission-essential tasks. By integrating fundamental AI principles with hands-on application of platforms such as Power BI for advanced data visualization and Microsoft Power Apps for workflow automation, the curriculum is grounded in USACE-relevant scenarios. Participants will learn how these tools can be used to streamline analytical processes, improve reporting, and reduce manual effort, discovering how the synergy of AI and low-code solutions facilitates more agile decision-making and efficient mission delivery enterprise-wide. Upon completion, attendees will be prepared to identify key opportunities for automation and apply data-driven insights to strengthen overall mission outcomes.

Prerequisites:
Nominees should be employees with basic digital literacy. Recommended for GS-9 to GS-14. No prior AI experience required.
