Non-Corps Onsite Training Request Application
:
Overview The Mobile Training Team (MTT) request is used to support unforeseen training needs. The primary means of scheduling and forecasting training with the ULC is the annual survey which is published the first week of May annually. The MTT training request system is used to streamline the MTT request process by allowing you, the customer, to provide the United States Army Corps of Engineers Learning Center (ULC) the necessary information to conduct an analysis of the resources, and the capabilities for supporting your training requirements. MTT training should be requested at least 120 days prior to tentative start date allowing ULC time to meet your prospective requested training dates if possible. This will allow enough time for ULC to meet the 60-day billing policy. The MTT request with less than 60-days prior to the tentative start date will not be processed. Minimum/Maximum Class Size Requestors must adhere to the class minimum and maximum class sizes as listed on the MTT request must meet the minimum class size listed on the request website. Approval Process The ULC will respond no later than (NLT) 30 calendar days. During this period, you may contact ULC registrar’s office for status of your request. The ULC will coordinate with course proponents and instructor teams when making determinations on request. Instructor availability is the primary limiting factor in the number of training requests the ULC can support. Scheduled sessions have precedence over MTT request. The cost of the MTT is billable once an agreement between ULC and the requesting organization is approved, and training is scheduled. If payment is not received by the funding due date, ULC will cancel the organization’s request. Computation of MTT Cost MTT costs for FY26 are based on published standard tuition rates. This standardization ensures all PROSPECT course iterations equitably share administrative and operational costs. CONUS MTT costs are calculated by multiplying the published standard tuition rate by the number of students. OCONUS MTT costs are calculated by multiplying the published standard tuition rate by the number of students, plus an offset to account for higher per diem and travel rates. The ULC will use this guidance when preparing cost proposals for MTT request. Requesting Organization’s Responsibilities After ULC provides approved dates with a cost proposal for a MTT request, the organization has 12-calendar days to agree or disagree with the approved dates and cost. After the 12-calendar days the request will automatically become void. If ULC is unable to fulfill your request ULC will notify the organization immediately. Upon agreement by the requesting organization, this becomes an obligation and ULC will issue a bill to the organization at NLT 60 days prior to the course start date. The Registrar’s Office will send an email requesting class roster be submitted NLT 14 calendar days prior to the start date of the MTT. The requesting organization accepts all responsibilities for coordinating logistical support for the MTT training session to include but is not limited to: - Funding - Student accountability - List of expected students - Student training authorization form (SF182) - Classroom - Student computers with internet connectivity - Audio Visual equipment - Field Trip (if required) - Tutorial: PDF NOTE: If the organization re-submits the same request for a later date, labor charges will be assessed prior to processing the second application.
